Great book for those who have spent some time with go. If you are young (under 16?) or have played fewer than 20 games, I'd recommend "Learn to Play Go by Janice Kim" rather than this book. Having said that, this book is very dense and seems to go quite quickly. You probably will not be able to just read through it, but have to practice the concepts before moving on (which is not bad). Other books/websites with go strategy seem to tell you what not to do in situations (and how to avoid them), this one also gives some insight into what to do in those situations. There are times where this book gives examples for you to solve that seem too challenging, but the answer usually is explained well. This book goes deep than many other introductory books making it nice to have around for a while.Read full review
The Go book is simple to understand and a great way to learn the game of GO!

Book is in terrible condition. See the photos. The book content is very good, but this copy is way too damaged to be resold at any price.

This is a good book for people who have not yet played the game. The explanations are clear and the illustrations are helpful.
