Didn’t expect to like it
The one thing I do not like about the J.R Ward books is the constant added chapters for new characters ;/ and the constant back and forth fight between the couples where they all separate at one point then come back together it’s a little redundant and also with a female getting captured and so on. I get that the new characters that are being welcomed are intertwined and trickled in through the involvement of the black dagger brother hood but I LOVE my boys. Payne’s book is just as good as the other brothers and she is part of the family which was important piece for her twin. It had a good story line and ending. I just wish J.R would stop with these other characters and keep focus on the brothers in my opinion. Sometimes it’s nice to see these other views from outsiders and what’s going on with them but I have grown quite attached to the brothers. I’m on the king right now which is great as well so far buttttttttt I’m still waiting for DARIUS’ BOOK, even though he had a part in lover mine. Not enough for me, I would like more of him and it doesn’t seem that we will get that unfortunately. Anyway yes this book is amazing! I was sitting on the edge of my seat for the majority of this book! It’s a great addition and it’s important to the story line!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
