This book is for those people with a certain kind of quirky sense of humor. A little darker than "Go the F to Sleep," it appeals to my adult daughter because of its not-quite-meant-for-children subject matter. Dear daughter worked in a library, and while she can't bring herself to read real ones, she is glad to have parody books. As it is a parody of picture books, it is really a series of funny captions and not a story. If the title makes you laugh, then you will also like the book.
