Polaris is STILL the best.
I have had a pool for about 38 years now and this is my third Polaris! I'd say that is pretty good service. Yes, I had to repair them, but now with internet parts, it is a lot easier. When the Polaris arrived, I unpacked it to find the stem where the back float goes on broken off. I was able to salvage a part off my old one to repair it. Fully satisfactory performance
This is a replacement unit for a Krazy Krawler sweep. The Polaris seems to be more efficient in the removal of leaves and random dirt. The assembly instructions did not clearly indicate how to attach the water feed hose...problem solved by looking a you tube video clip. Brittle catch bag

Replacement for old Polaris
Our in-ground gunite pool is 14 years old and our Polaris was bought when we built the pool. It has served well until this year when it would no longer work. We replaced it with the Polaris 380 and our pool has never looked this good! It cleans far better than the predecessor and does it faster. After less than two hours of operation, our pool is spotless. I am in no way disappointed in the performance of this cleaner.
