The Dunlop MC 404 CAE is the best wah I've played. Easy on/off. Built in overdrive Clean signal stays in tact. Foot Switchable between the old school Hendrix tones and a low Dime type growl Way worth the extra money. Awesome company. When this tank gives out, I'll buy another one just like it without a 2nd thought. It looks pretty cool too. You do need room between other pedals to access switches for boost(left) and the sweeps (right).

So far, I'm really enjoying this pedal. Time will tell, but it seems very well built and sturdy. The MC-404 is very versatile, intuitive, and easy to use. Nice taper and feel, and tweakable enough to satisfy most OCD musicians! Works well clean and distorted, does not mind other effects at all. I do not have a fuzz pedal, so I can't review that aspect of the MC-404. I highly recommend this pedal, even though I'm still curious to try one of the many other highly regarded boutique builders' pedals.
it's the best wah I've had and I have tried many... Including Fulltone, Vox, Vintage etc... It has a booster that is switchable and 2 different voiced inductors. It will cover all the vintage tones and also the more extreme tones. great investment.

To me, best sounding wah pedal by Dunlop. 2 different voices (side button) and a built in distortion (side button) with a control knob. I have a modified Fazel USA Crybaby and this CAE is on a different level. They're all good, but glad I found this one. Worth a try.

I set out to buy a pedal that was as good as a Vintage Vox Wah.. So after looking a bit further on the net and on youtube i came across this Custom audio electronics wah and i`m in NO WAY ! dissapointed. Sounds awesome and is all that you would expect from a Dunlop product, It has pretty cool adjustments on it but i keep it very simple for the tone that i have going at the moment. All in all very happy with this pedal and great value for money for a Great sound ! Check it out you won`t be sorry. Cheers Muzzy_66
I have tried many pedals. This one hopefully will be my last pedal purchased. It sounds great. And has many options. Inside the circuit board there are three trim pots for adjustments. Mark the trim pots with a sharpie before any adjustments just in case.

This pedal is at a different level. Love it. It has fantastic sounds and responds beautifully. I would recommend this pedal to anyone who loves to play the guitar and loves to play the blues.

This wah does it all. The simple things like having nice visable LED's so you can see when the pedal is on or off, if the boost is engaged, or which inductor is active. This pedal has two distinct wah tones thanks to two fasal inductors that can be activated via a tow kick switch on the side of the pedal. Very nice. Another improvement with this pedal is the ease of the wah switch itself. I don't have to step on it with all my weight to active or deactivate the wah. The tone is very vintage and vocal like. Love it! I've owned a bunch of boutique wahs and this is a keeper for me.
Excellent build, top quality pedal. A couple of the most prestigious and well known names in music.

I like the options of sounds, designed by the custom shop of MXR & Bob Bradshaw of CAE (Custom Audio Equipment). Kinda remind a "Q" Wah Pedal. Have fun.
