You have to wonder how many Garage Door Openers are replaced due to a bad start capacitor? Easy to replace, unplug the Opener, remove the old capacitor and plug in the 4 wires, plugging in the two wires that are the same color on each side of the capacitor. When a capacitor is bad the Opener may start then stop or do nothing at all when the button is pressed. There are several videos you can watch on You Tube that can be helpful..

After breaking a door spring, the door over loaded the 1/2 horse power opener. Caused the capacitor to heat and leak. This was a perfect match in working the color was not white but just the same on voltage and type I used the round circle inside top where the wires are to be plugged in as top plugged the LT/Yellow top left- plugged Dk/Yellow in left bottom then Orange wire top right and Red bottom right. This was correct for my older Genie opener.

The capacitor brought my door opener back to life. Its smaller length made it easy to install. What can I say, it's a good product at a competitive price. Buy it if you need it.
