Worked for my outdoor flood lamps
I purchased some new LED outdoor motion spotlights for the house for Christmas, then picked up the yard stake flood lamp holders to put them into. Unfortunately, the LED lamps were too big at the base and wouldn't fit all the way into the yard stake socket. I purchased this 3 pack of socket extenders and they fixed my issue. Glad I was able to finally use the new motion lights. These arrived in a padded envelope quickly and without any damage. The quality seems pretty good. They felt solid when I was connecting them to the LED bulbs and into the main socket. The material is light weight, definitely not ceramic, but the plastic seems to be good quality. I used with LED bulbs and they were outside during a 4 inch snow storm, as well as several rainy days during the holidays. Great product. Perfect in many applications, use care in others to protect extender and socket.
Great product. Using to allow LED flood lights to be installed in articulated lamp with small diameter fixed metal shades which works well. Only concern is subjecting bulb to contact via bumping, etc. could damage socket or extender. This is not a fault of the extender this is my problem. I can see lighter weight bulbs needing extender - perfect - or downward facing flood lamp, perfect. Horizontal flood lamp (my case) might benefit from added support - my problem. At the end of the day if bulb is horizontal, use as short of an extension as possible, to reduce stress on socket...Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
