Much better than front hub
I bought this Yescom 48v 1500 watt kit and put it on a standard steel frame bike. The rear dropouts are about 130 mm and the axle needs 135mm space, so I slightly stretched the dropout metal with a hydraulic jack. Rear axle is 10mm x 14 mm which is much better than the 10 x 12 that are on front hubs. The bike axle is tied down very well with 2 torque washers and 1 torque arm. This bike runs great and has much better handling than my 750 watt front hub kit. This bike kit was hyped to go 37 mph, but I can't say it can with a 160 lbs rider. In a safe test run I did hit 35 mph with wind assistance and 30 mph against wind. I imagine that this motor may run stronger with hall sensors disconnected.
