With the newly developed LR Baggs/PRS piezo system, the SE Hollowbody II Piezo offers the musician the opportunity to use both acoustic and electric sounds in one instrument. The instrument is equipped with two discrete volume controls (Magnetics and Piezo) and output jacks (Mix/Piezo and Magnetics). The player can connect the "Mix/Piezo" jack and use the individual volume controls to mix the 58/15 "S" pickups with the acoustic tones of the piezo. Alternatively, the player can connect the jacks separately, allowing the guitar to be driven into an amp with the magnetic pickups and into an acoustic amp or DI jack with the piezo.
