Complete upgrade
The original disposer that came with the house was a rusted piece of worn out junk and 1/3hp. This disposer is 3/4 and what a difference in quality, quietness and the ability to do what a disposer is supposed to do. Often times some points are exaggerated to compel you to purchase something, but this disposer is worth every penny I spent on it. My old insinkerator flange didn't match up with this so that bgg had to be changed, but that was minor. I did have to have someone else to install for me as I am unable, but it wasn't a difficult install and the finished product is very agreeable to me when I have to look down in the cabinet.
