Transitioned to this from FX series and it's like day and night. Performance has increased by 50% or more. I don't think Intel "compiler cheating" has much of an effect on AMD anymore. This setup screams. Update bios and adjust DOCP for your memory and your good to go. Cons: Windows 7 won't install on this board/cpu setup. Keyboard and mouse shut off during installation. Looked into it and Ryzen does not support Windows 7. Perhaps there is a workaround but for this configuration it's best to simply install Windows 10.
