After reading other reviews suggesting the form is fragile and breaks easily we were ready to receive a poor quality product. So we are pleasantly surprised that the form is perfect for my wife's needs! It set up in moments, and took less than a half hour before ready for use. Let me give the hints: 1. The feet are not as thick and as sturdy as I would hope. But the form is upright and standing. When moving the form lift and move. Don't drag. 2. The instructions for turning size dials says squeeze the dial handle and a RED button. THERE ARE NO RED BUTTONS. White and white. And squeeze may not be easy. Go slow. 3. Setting sizes? Forget the numbers that are on the dials. Use your sewing tape measure to accurately set the sizes. Do it slowly. DO NOT try to turn a dial all the way to the measurement you desire. Instead turn it maybe 25%, turn form, do next dial, turn, next. Continue until you reach the desired measurement. (For those who broke the form trying to set sizes I am sure they tried to do each dial in a single turn. The form has to open as you go and has steel resist that keeps the shape. Plastic vs steel? Steel will win.) So it takes time to set bust, waist, hips, neck and torso. It's worth the time. Not intended to be professional, the form is now set for the one person's size who needs it. We don't expect to resize every day or week. The form is sure to last a long time.Read full review

The bust does not adjust to the size it says online. I had to put a padded bra on it. The shoulders are cut off so short I had to glue on shoulder pads for fit. The neck adjustment does not work at all. Wherever you put it, it snaps back to the smallest size. Could be broken or a design problem. The height goes back to zero no matter how tight I twist the "adjustment parts." I had to use duct take to adjust it. All and all it is cheap and light. Don't buy it.

Pros: Decently priced for an amateur like me to practice working with my first dress form. Adjustable dials are nice and learning to pad the form to fit oneself is great on a dress form that's not super pricey. Packed well, easy to assemble (for the most part), very light to move around, shipping speed satisfactory, nice seller. Cons: Most frustrating to me was the height locking part. It had terrible threading and wouldn't catch, so I had to jerry rig a way of keeping it in place. Also missing a vital screw and nut on bottom. Some parts were not colored red as described in the manual, but that could be figured out by yourself. I have yet to use it for draping so I don't know how well the pins hold yet. Overall I am happy with my purchase, but wished the manufactured part for height lock actually worked.Read full review

This is a great beginner's form! It looks nice in person qs is a nice, slightly plush dark red just like the picture, not too bright. It is easy to adjust and stands fairly steady. I plan ro adjust it it slightly under my size and pad it out to my shape and put a cover over it, and am excited that I can take it all apart and adjust in case I lose weight. Would purchase again!

While the manufacturer's instructions were not very detailed, my husband and I were able to assemble the dress form easily in about 15 minutes. The adjustments is height and body measurements were also easy to do. So, all in all, I would definitely recommend this item to girlfriends and/or female family who sew for themselves or other women on a regular basis.
