Slightly disappointed and ardently confused
I have purchased many Injen products, throughout the years, for Toyotas. I have always been extremely pleased with their superior quality and performance. This time, is a different story. Although it came complete, instruction were clear and concise, the overall fitment lacked previous products. Holes misaligned, not sure about this so called locking filter thing either. It is basically sandwiched between the air box and throttle body, under good pressure, might I add. And just wait till you try and align the 3 factory screws back through the air box!! If you have a swear jar, get some cash, before you start that mess of twisted seahorse testicles. I would have given it 3 stars, but, I have a soft spot for Injen. It just happens to be on the inside of my left forearm and bleeding right now. All in all, I think it will be a good product and stand the test of time, until I need to check my oil levels. Throttle response is improved, but give your sweet little Taco a few days of driving, so the adaptive ECU can do everything it can to either accept, and love, or, over compensate, rendering any gains worthless. 🤷‍♂️ Well kids, that's my two and a half cents!!! (Inflation) Have a wonderful day!!
