I am totally new to 3D printing but not working on (THINGS) you will need to change the extruder coupler right out of the box so order more or keep a close eye on it. I can't review to removable bed because I chose to get glass bed. The hardest part was flashing the Marlin firmware. I would recommend printing Fan Cover, Spool holder with roller bearings (Awesome) I put Ender 3 on a beefed up microwave stand to move room to room.

Everything came packed well, easy to assemble. While homing the printer for first use parts keep colliding that shouldnt, forums suggest the firmware upgrade will fix that. I upgrade the firmware and now the printer is unusable and doesnt get past the logo/boot screen. I have yet to print anything. OK, so there is a part i can order to try to fix this, great.. I'll do that i suppose. I wouldn't wan't anyone to have to go through this. I sure hope this printer eventually works. Most of these reviews mention Ender 3D so it looks like the Anet ET4 & Ender 3 printers reviews are merged. This review is for an Anet ET4

If you’re not an engineering type, the assembly can be a little daunting (you’ll want to watch some instructional videos on YouTube) but once it’s built it’s a powerful little machine, producing excellent prints. I use mine to print fossil replicas for teaching, and they’re just about as good as the real thing. Download Cura to do the slicing.

For a first time person, the assembly was difficult. The assembly direction is better on the chip verses that provided as printed material. Still trying to print first model with no success but attribute this to zero knowledge. Even terms must be learned and understood but looks like fun after I get past these issues. Seems to be a very well designed machine made from quality parts. No explanation of printer controls - NADDA. Requires some research to understand basic ters and uses of functionality. Don't believe you can be the quality/price that this product provides.

Great printer for the price, better than most DIY machines. I wrote a review, but it didn't post. so let me be brief. It does have some minor issues; The print bed is warped a little, but is easily fixed by using a glass build plate. the extruder is good, but an aluminum upgrade is available and I recommend it for this machine as well. Otherwise, print quality is excellent, machine is solid, comes with Cura for slicing models. Build volume is decent, takes a good portion of the day to assemble, level, and dial in print settings, but once it's dialed init works beautifully. theres a huge support community for these, making i very modable and upgradeable. While I wouldn't consider this a beginner's machine, if you have a little experience with 3d printing, this is a must-buy! perfect tor the novice or expert. For a Budget printer, machine construction, build volume and print quality are unmatched! After spending some time with it, I can truly say this is a good machine for the price!Read full review
