These can be a nice upgrade op amps in certain circuits. I’ve used them in guitar pedals and guitar amps. They are a drop in replacement for many common op amps. But have much better specs in regards to noise floor and signal to noise etc. They can quiet circuit noise in a noisy amp or boost pedal. Add a bit of clarity in amp stages. Quiet the hiss in cascaded gain stages like guitar amp overdrive stages. It’s not magic but nearly any amp I’ve plugged these into has gotten quieter and picked up some clarity even when being overdriven. But much of the perceived improvement depends on how bad the original Chip was and the circuit design itself. So improvement can very noticeable to subtle. Last I checked these where still the best chip of its type for audio.
