Disconnect the cable between the power board and the mainboard. plug your TV into a wall, if the backlight turns on then your power board is good. if it doesn't you either have a power board or a backlight issue.

Easy Board Replacement
This was an exact replacement for the problem board. It was new - as stated in the listing - and was easy to in stall. Up and running in a few minutes. Hope this one lasts a little (or a lot) longer.
