Good product at a good price!
Only had them a couple of weeks. Used them a couple of times.they amplify very well, pretty easy to fit into the ear, seal well. I haven’t fired a gun with them in yet, but I have had them in when I discharged my crossbow and they instantly muted the sound! Battery life has been very good so far, about 15 hours, nice that they are rechargeable, recharged them very quickly. Walker’s Game Ears
Walker’s game ears when properly worn offer superior noise reduction - like hear your heart beat noise reduction - in conversational distance situations / environments as well as ‘super hearing’ when activated to the loudest of four settings. The amplification is extreme. Range use offers excellent protection from gunshots, even those large caliber muzzle brake 308 Win Mag platform-type weapons. On the same hand, even the level one amplification allows for clear and articulate hearing for conversation and range commands. Used for hunting the amplification allows the user to hear game in their environment from afar - easily within 100 yards in my experience. The cable is heavy duty and would be difficult to break even under the severest use situations like tactical ground work shooting from underneath vehicles, etc. Battery life typically is approximately 24 hours or more when used on the lowest setting and full-charge time is approximately 2-3 hours. A green light tells you they are charging and goes off at full charge so there is never a question if they are charged or not. Each set comes with three sizes of foam-type ear “buds”, usb charging cable, a tool to clean them, a hard shell zippered case and product information. I’ve put these through literally thousands of hours of use on the range in situations ranging from square range target work to true life tactical training in, around and under vehicles, ‘running and gunning’ and shoot house situations. Desert heat or December cold and snow has no effect on these and again- when worn properly will work as described and stay in your ears regardless of sweat or extreme temperatures. Gone are the days of over-the-ear hearing protection sweat and heat and slipping off the ear in those intense training sessions or competition. The only negative to these, if it is really a negative at all, is the short usb charging cable. These are my second set of Walker’s Game Ears. My first pair lasted about three years and a trip through the washer and dryer caused intermittent use of one ear. My only regret is that I didn’t discover them sooner. The earplugs fit my ear canals comfortably & secure, the clamping action works as intended, sound amplification is impressive, controls easy to operate. Battery life has been good, haven’t been able to run them down with an extended day. The only down side is the sound quality being a bit on the ‘tinny’ side compared to my regular muffs. For the price they are the best value for money on the market today.
I have the larger Walkers around the neck style hearing protectors and like them. However these are so light and easy to wear the others are redundant. Good quality sound at 1:1 volume and fast sound compression. Not impressed
I was disappointed in product. It doesn’t stay in eat well and even though it does amplify the sound some , it amplifies all sounds, so you can’t hear anything really any better because all the background sounds are amplified also and essentially drown out the wanted sound.
