I found that the corners on the surcingle poke into the horse. Using a different cinch than what came with surcingle helped. I'd like to know if anyone has any other suggestions. Whether or not I recommend it depends on what someone plans on doing with it. For what I'm doing with it, which is riding bareback, experiencing the movement of the horse and my own body with the horse, and in a way that is different with the surcingle than without it, yes I recommend it. The quality seems decent, but comparing it to a heavier, and probably more expensive, surcingle that I tried, it felt less stable and less secure, so I just wouldn't depend totally on the handles for stability.

Very nice and works great. Just had to add extra holes to fit my midget horse.

this would adjust to any size horse. Mine is 14.2 1100. Lots more holes if needed.
