Perfectly balanced. Cuts through things like butter.
I am not a particularly experienced cook, but I like quality products. I was looking for a knife set that was high quality but reasonably priced (since I don't feel a super huge investment in the kitchen is wise for someone who cooks as little as I do). I wanted the following: balanced knives (blade and handle balanced weight so knifes don't automatically tip toward the blade or the handle), super sharp, firm well attached handles (these have integrated handles so of course I don't need to worry about rivets loosening over time), attractive, and nice enough that I would feel proud of them when chef-type guests are over and are cooking with me. The only negative is that I did not want steak knives, but I decided to compromise here since this was a nice set and didn't seem to have an option without the steak knives. Overall I would give this set a 10 out of 10 for meeting all my needs stated above. Recommend for people of discerning taste that want a quality product at a reasonable price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
