About this product

Product Information

Midway continues its fast-paced, arcade-style lineup of sports titles with the company's first soccer game. Featuring 32 international teams and 11-on-11 action, the game follows a similar format to NHL Hitz or NFL Blitz: players must defeat each team once before advancing. Attribute points can be earned by winning games, and flashier moves such as scissor kicks, bicycle kicks, and slide tackles can be performed with a tap of the button.

Over 500 motion-captured moves were filmed for the game. The crowds also get in on the action with a momentum meter that gradually builds during the course of play. In addition to Exhibition and Championship modes, an assortment of mini-games offers various tests of skill in passing, shooting, and tackling. As always, a number of hidden characters, stadiums, and cheats are awaiting discovery as players strive for the World Championship.

  • Basically no scratches

My original xbox is located in a different state. Won't know if it works until March at the earliest, but its been a long time since I saw an xbox game with so few scratches on the bottom, so I expect I will have no issues. As long as that is the case, it was definitely worth the price to get redcard back in my life

  • Definitely an oddity of a soccer video game.

Solid game. Leans more toward the sim aspect of sports gaming (at least as far as the actual playing of the matches are concerned) and less crazy like say Blitz.
