An Old Standard
This is a great cookbook that will never lose its relevance. I was given one years ago, for some odd reason didn't use it much, and gave it to my daughter-in-law. Then, one day, I got a hankering for C&E's lemon crunch cake. I was delighted to find it here and had that cake in the oven within an hour of the cookbook's arrival. Best I've ever tasted. I've since perused the whole book and found many recipes that I'm itching to try. Happy to have it back in my kitchen!
