This has always been one of my favorite games and (I thought) was by far the best of the burnout series. Each car had driving characteristics that made sense for that model. Acceleration, cornering/handling and weight which affects damage. It was a lot more than just rushing down and crashing into cars. The traffic patterns were not always the same. Hurry I could just crush into stuff for fun varied but if you wanted to get the highest scores, you needed to study how other vehicles react to you and choose the correct. Rolling busses down hills for maximum damage was great! Rolling multiple busses was always a challenge! It's all about choosing the right car for the right track and for the right strategy and then executing. No cheap stunts or explosions for multipliers on points. It is pure and a real blast!Read full review

I played it when I was younger & it was nice to play it again after so many years. Burnout is a fun game I would say to play.

This game I rated as average, its really fun, its graphics need to be upgraded, but they probably will be upgraded in the newer versions. If you are looking for a racing game that is really fun, that you can change your views while driving or go head on in traffic, or even cause huge car accidents, then this is a game that I would recomment to you.
I think this is a great game for small children. The only problem is that my son got xbox 3 and 4 before we bought this one and it was a little disappointing since graphics and game design change so much with time. Get this first and then build up to burnout 4 (revenge). It is worth having just so you can say you have all 4 of the burnout games for xbox.
needed games for my x-box, fun game, graphics look a little Nintendo-esque, but it's addicting and has a good balance of realism and arcade
