This is a really nice, compact little printer. It prints clear and sharp text and color-true images, so far as I can tell. We haven't used it very much yet, but so far, so good! It's great, too, that it actually works with my Dad's old eMac G4. It's a bit slow to warm up, and I was dismayed that it shipped without ink - but, otherwise, it was easy to set up and works very well. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a reasonably priced small inkjet printer that can print both text and photos.
It works well and lasts quite well. I chose to order this printer because it is identical to the one I had previously, which finally bugged out. A kind friend set it up for me because I'm a nullity at this kind of thing, but it only took him about half an hour. Print quality is fine with b & w, sometimes a bit fuzzy with color. I LOVE my Canon Pixma printer, This is my second one, Had the other one for years and would not have ever replaced it if I did not have to. Such an easy printer to set up, even for a non-techie like myself. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a compact, easy to use, affordable item. Could not be happier.

I had one of these before and printed just fine until pink and brown pics would come out yellow. This one is okay for b&w, but does not print in color for some reason. Otherwise, I would give excellent marks in all categories.
Nice printer, fantastic price, fast delivery. What else is there? The printer prints quality pictures and is user friendly. So many times you get these great deals home only to find they wet not such great deals. I've learned over the years that you can trust canon because they stand behind their products.
