Unbelievable image quality jump from shooting plain old 35mm. Simple to use, futuristic looking camera works well in point & shoot mode. Manual mode is trickier and is a several step process. I often forgot to remove the lens cap in the beginning. As it is rangefinder, there is no indication in the viewfinder that the lens cap is on or off. Light meter works well in challenging circumstances. Lovely images, really amazing lens, contrasty, sharp, etc. Big jump in the smoothness of transitions from one tone to another, I'm sure this is in large part to shooting medium format film though. Camera is about the size of a Canon 5dMk3 with no lens on it. Amazing travel camera for someone that likes to shoot film and wants to create high quality images. Also, the default orientation in the viewfinder is vertical/portrait. The camera has to be rotated 90 degrees to shoot landscape. If you want a modern high quality point & shoot this camera is great. I chose to get the prime lens version, not a big fan of zooms on point & shoot cameras, it worked well for me.Read full review
Was shipped fast. Arrived about a week or so earlier than expected. Quality of the camera was indeed near mint. Shutter count was around 100+ as advertised.

I joked about having a medium format point and shoot, like my yashika t4, and then I found out about the GA 645. I bought the GA after finding out some photographers I like were using it. The photos were very clean and a the flash seemed to have some cool daytime uses. I liked how light weight the GA is and it's quietness matches. The manual functions work without problem, but the auto mode is pretty acurate.
Perfect, fast, professional!
