Seeing is Believing
This Lighting System is exactly what I've been looking for, now on my RL550b I can see the powder charge in 2 different locations, the shell plate is lit up a like a stage. Provides enough clear clean white light that I can reload in a totally dark room and see every aspect of the press operation and about 18 inhes anywhere on the bench, like the digial scale or whatever. Installation was a breeze as well, David's instructions were to the letter and explained a simple and direct as possible. EVERYTHING was provided in the packaging, it also has an off and on switch, nothing cheap about this system, all components are of quality, you can see and feel. I don't know what else to say that this is the best add on I could I could've possibly bought for my Dillon Press and it's going to help me reload with much more confidence and safely as I can SEE what the heck I'm doing, no matter the Lighting Situation arises.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very brite now,I can see what is going on w/ my DILLON 550. GREAT upgrade item. Go slow and follow easy directions. Important to test all components before install;and scuff/clean areas for adhesive attachment. I found that step #3 a bit hard to do as described. I just fed the pigtail w/LEDs in from the left side w/ram up,then lowered ram for room to attach the LEDs w/adhesive strips. All pieces appear to be high quality.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

very good lighting
I must admit that I was surprised in a good way with this kit. Installation was easy, taking less than 5 minutes. They supply everything needed. The payoff is when you click the switch on. Holy cow! I almost jumped back! The light is bright but not glaring. You can easily see the bottom of the brass before the powder is dispensed and the powder level is easy to see after charging. I hope it lasts but with LED technology and what feels like a good quality switch, I do not anticipate any problems. Install suggestions
I just finished installing the UFO light kit and I love it. Bright white light without obstructing my view or movement. I had a couple snags while installing. I hope these notes will help you with an easier install. The zip ties were installed as suggested, but raising the ram caused the powder measure return bracket to hit the upper tie. The solution was to remove the shell plate and loosen the shellplate platform. The return bracket could then be rotated to give more clearance. The platform then needed to be realigned. The second snag was the index sprocket hitting the pigtail/LED strip splice as the shell plate was rotated. I had placed the LED strip in a nice vertical line which put it as close, too close, to the shell plate and the sprocket arms. The adhesive had not fully set and I was able to shift the end of the LED strip slightly to the left, just enough to clear the sprocket arms. It's not perfectly vertical anymore. Sue me. I highly recommend the UFO light kit. It's everything they say it is. Even in a brightly lit shop it makes a huge difference in seeing each round is as perfect as you can make it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This is a great product. It's priced right, works as advertised, and is easy to install. Very Nice
My Dillon press is located on a work bench that has a fluorescent light almost directly above it, but the press provides some shadows that make it a little hard to see everything clearly in the shellplate area. This light is very bright and pretty much eliminates shadows really helps to see clearly what is going on as cartridges are reloaded. It takes a few minutes to figure out exactly how it fits in to the structure, but it relatively easy to install. Great light kit
I have had a more expensive light kit on my primary press for a few years and thought that it was as good as they come. When I installed a new press, I was reluctant to spend that much since it’s going to be used about half as much. I was happy to find this product and decided to buy after reading the reviews on Amazon. It’s a bright led
First impression, flimsy. So far it hasn’t failed or fallen off the press. It could be designed better for the dillon presses. Power cord gets in the way of ram on press.
