This is probably my favorite game of the Gameboy sides Mario kart. The game is as good as I remember and is so much fun. I originally owned it on the Gameboy and decided I wanted to play it again so I bought it again since I lost my original one. I also had it on the SNES which sucked as it had no dedicated saving so you couldn't just pause the games and save your progress but with the Gameboy one you can save whenever you like rather than only at major areas such as switches and castles along with Boo houses and some secret areas. Anyways the game is amazing and just as fun as I remember. Can't wait to beat all the levels and find all the secret areas again.

Super Mario Advance 2 is a great game to play on your GBA. The graphics are great but my only nitpick is how the color palette looks washed out which is due to the fact that the OG model has NO backlit screen so they compensated by oversaturating the colors. Despite that, I had a great time and it even includes an enhanced port of Mario Bros., a 1983 arcade game which can be played solo or even with 2-4 players via a link cable. I would definitely recommend this to any Mario veteran and I am glad I have the complete packaging for my Super Mario Advance collection. Would give it 5 stars out of 5!

I loved the game the first time around on the SNES. This portable version is the same with a few changes. You can play as Luigi in a one player game. Mario and Luigi have voice effects for certain actions. You can play the original Mario Bros arcade game too if you want. The best change was that now you can save your game at any time and it keeps track of how many lives and coins you have as well. Plus, it's awesome to have a classic game on the GBA. I will be playing this for a long time.

This brings back memories from when I was like 7 playing games from a decade before. And the great thing about the GBA version is that I don't have to wait to get home to play Super Mario World! 10/10 would recommend.

I like the game because well its the best mario ever made and now its portable! What I dont like about the game is the fact that they changes so much of the music up. I like the original synth for the game...It had a completed feel to it! The new music lacks alot, it seems to be unfinished, and it sounds like it was done on a $10 Casio board that everyone had as a kid. i also dont like the fact that luigi follows you around, its not labeled mario and luigi world.....I dont like luigi being incorporated into the original games like these whatsoever. They could of atleast done like the SMA 3 and allowed you to select if you want to play with both or not. So besides the music lacking and having luigi take along, the game itself its wonderful, I also like the extra they threw in with the select button so you can see if you have fully collected all 5 dragon coins in each level and have gone through both endings of each level.Read full review
