Great Christmas Movies
Ive always loved The Christmas Visitor, its a heartfelt story of a family still coping with the death of their son who died during the Christmas holiday when he was in the Gulf War. William Devane does an exceptional job playing the father of this family. Silent Night is based on a true story. Linda Hamilton is exceptional as a German mother trying to escape the town where she knows her youngest son, aged 12 is about to be drafted into the military during WWII's Battle of the Bulge. Its Christmastime and she finds herself in a cabin on the front lines of the war playing host to both a German unit as well as a US unit. An Angel in the Family is a good one too where a mother (Meredith Baxter) who has previously died, gets to come back to her family just for Christmas. What I did for Love was my least favorite of the set. Its basically the girl takes home the boyfriend for the holidays and the family dont like him....(seen this scenario too many times already). Poor acting, just couldnt get in to it. But the other 3 movies are well worth purchasing this DVD!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
