Drop dead gorgeous sound!
I always wanted a K and playing this proves I was right. It's dark but not too trashy or china-like. Just complex, musical and very sensitive. My medium thin still has the ability to open up with just the tip of my 5b's if I want it too. I'll need to get a 17 and 18-inch when I have the money. I hate the K customs but love the K's. Be aware the thin (my first choice) will be a little higher pitched so if you're worried about the "darkness" that gives you an option. I don't think it's too dark, but always consider the room you're in...very different based on your surroundings! Tim
