Great solid usable knobs for Dillon. No 3D printed plastic; built in screw. Get these!

This is the best product and value for Dillon powder measure adjustment screws / knobs. I had been using the micrometer ones - and taking time to build the calibration charts. But I find with all the powders and such - and having multiple bars often for a moving set of calibers - that I don't make the calibrations anymore and I don't use the charts much. Or I'll get close and then just dial it in. I suppose some of this is the pencil type micrometer are hard for me to read and know where I am at. The "fat round" style might work better. But they're also spendy. I this is my second set of two and I'll probably just continue with these. offhand I have nearly enough bars (I'm not one to have one die plate / one of everything to use for everything) for at last most powders - if not a caliber (so all 223 is then pretty close). I love them ; have 4 now; will buy more.

    Incorrect thread diameter

Product looks good,is easy to replace or change BUT!, the thread is so loose that the powder adjustment becomes an automatic powder adjuster. When you are using the Dillon Square deal as in my case you don't realise the powder is increasing automatically until you have a case almost full of powder. Warren Badger

  • Dillon powder knob

works as advertised. Basic knob. graduations on knob are nice, but don’t really align with anything, so unless add something to correspond to it, no real function. Plus dial has to rotate several times to add/ subtract powder, that the numbers don’t really have much value. Also, there were no instruction. While pretty straight forward, there are a few tidbits that would have been nice to type up and drop in the envelop with the knob. Be sure to use the new washer, as the new knob will not have enough resistance and the knob could move while loading ammo.

  • Quality and Performance Upgrade

Arrived quickly, excellent quality, easy to install (watch his video), and makes a very positive difference when adjusting the powder measure for different loads. I record the numbered setting at the 12 o'clock position for each different load in my load book. This makes it really easy to make powder load changes such as going from a 115 gr 9mm bullet to a 147 gr bullet. Just dial the wheel to the previously determined/recorded position, check the new load on your scale and you are done.

  • Powder Adjustment Knob

Great item, makes getting powder amount adjusted with ease. No wrenches to use. Now have 4 in use for my presses. Would recommend for anyone who has a Dillon Press.

  • Little things mean a lot sometimes....this time it does!

If you own an RL450 with the 550 powder upgrade, RL550 and its variants or an RL650, then you know how much a pain adjusting the gunpowder measure is. Getting out a wrench to move that little bolt is annoying especially when making up loads for your guns. As we all know, adjusting ammo to fit your gun's personality is part of the adventure, but adjusting a Dillon's powder measure is just not pleasant. Enter in the Powder Thrower Adjustment Knob and Screw Assembly. Well marked, it allows you to accurately adjust the amount of gunpowder that your Dillon measures out using numbers imprinted on the face of the Knob. The numbers themselves do not have any actual relation to the amount of powder except when you are in the .00 grain mode. If your load requires 25 grains of powder, then this Knob allows you to adjust the fractional grain dispensing after getting it close to 25 grains. Very easy to install and very easy to use. Makes the Dillon line of reloading equipment just a bit easier to use. Highly recommended.

  • Great Addition to Dillon 550 B and 550 C

An excellent addition to anyone using a Dillon 550 B or 550 C. First of all, very easy to install and easy to visualize when using. It makes adjusting powder volume into each case much easier and more precise, especially when loading small cases that require small amounts of powder. A real confidence builder when reloading handgun cases (I individually weigh all my rifle caliber case reloads).

  • The best upgrade to you Dillon, hands down.

After several sessions with a wrench trying to dial in a powder throw, I finally gave in and bought 2 of these knobs. I originally thought it was a lot to pay for a plastic knob .... but they are anything but that. It is a finely graduated scale in a hard substrate (not sure what, but not just basic plastic) and it is precise and oh so easy to use! I had one false start, don't forget to pull the wave washer from the old screw and put in on the new one. It may not be true for all systems but for my 550B, it was necessary. The time savings alone is worth the cost of one for every powder measure you own! You can't possibly regret this purchase. I certainly don't.

  • Great Addition to your Dillon

I tried a few of the press on and glue on knobs in the past, but I didn't like any of them. They would fall off and there was just a dot as an index. Then I got one of these for my 650, then I ordered two more for my 550 and 500 presses. I really like these and have loaded many, many rounds with no problems. I have never had one turn by itself, they stay put where you set it. It is true you can not index the starting point to the Ø mark, but If you could that would be one more thing that could get off, I would rather have it set in stone and not be able to change. When setting it up for the very first time I just turned it all the way in, then backed it off until the Ø is at the top, and call that the start position. It worked great like this. Then over time I have written down all my loads for the different powders, like "4.5g of XYZ powder = 3.4 turns" etc. And I can then go right back to the EXACT powder load later on. Of course I still check the weight of the first few cases. It has really helped me because I load for so many different rounds. I use to waste so much time getting the powder weight right before I got these. So I am very happy with it. David B Tucson AZ

  • This is a big powder bar upgrade

I like this quite a lot and have equipped all my powder bars with these. It is a quality piece of work and it makes setting the powder easy to do by hand. Once you have marks to guide you setting the powder, you won't want to do it without them again. I would give it 5 stars if there was some way to set the zero where you want it. As in all the way closed, open or some other spot. I found out they don't all zero at the same place.
