THREEZERO GitS Major Review
Packaged neatly in a beautiful sleek modern box showcasing the movie’s promotional images, ThreeZero’s rendition of The Major in 1/6 scale is a great figure for fans and collectors alike. It features removable armor, firearms with moving parts to simulate reloading, and an all fabric costume. The head sculpt, while not being 100% spot on on Scarlet Johansson’s likeness, does bear a resemblance to the actress that convinces from afar and features hair made of a soft rubbery material to allow for poseability. Speaking of, articulation in this figure is great and offers smooth mobility when posing. Featuring butterfly joints ratchet elbows, and double jointed knees, this figure is more than capable of holding weapons with two hands and striking some awesome action poses. The figure (in its standard release) comes with a rifle, an smg, a pistol, an extra clip, and a total of four pairs of hands. If I had something negative to say about this figure it would be that some of the armor pieces, having the added bonus of being removable, tend to move around freely if not tighten. Also, and this is more of a nitpick I will admit, the glove on the left hand is not entirely movie accurate. However, none of these points detract from this being an awesome figure and a great looking sci-fi piece. Overall, a great addition to the collection.
