Keaton means comedy, but these two long films are not funny.
Many years had passed since I saw Steamboat Bill Jr. and The General on television and I remembered very little about them. In making a collection of early comedies I ordered dvds of them. I was disappointed in both films. Buster Keaton is much better at short films than at long ones. In fact these two long films are not comedies. Keaton at times tried to be the former laugh stimulator but I failed to laugh. I'll watch them again some day when I play my Keaton collection again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
