The clips that hold the spray arm to the retaining nut are much better than the original design. The retaining nut itself appears to be missing a lead-in chamfer on the threads that was present on the original design, making it nearly impossible to install. I had to use a Dremel tool to make my own lead-in chamfer. I also had to remove the dishwasher from under the cabinet to be able to apply enough pressure from the top of the water supply tube to be able to get the threads to engage. The old retaining nut simply screwed on and screwed off easily by hand. The old retaining nut could not be used due to the design change to the spray arm retaining clips.

Once I got it installed, it worked just as the original did - but installing it was nearly impossible. The thread pitch did not seem to match the original part, and I had to really force it on (something made much more difficult by the fact that what it threads onto can move up and past the edge of the tub).I don't think it'll ever be coming out of the dishwasher again which is fine, as the new design doesn't seem like it should come apart nearly as easily.

Maybe the design changed some, but I had to use the previous mounting collar to properly install this item. The thread pitch of the new collar didn't seem to align properly with dishwasher tub threads. It never engaged properly.
