Not near OEM quality.
I purchased this mirror for my wife's 2005 Tahoe. At first I thought the product was great; well packaged, correct configuration with turn signal mirror, courtesy light and such. After installation, I found that the courtesy lamp was not working. Upon further inspection, it appears one of the electrical connections had gotten pinched and broken when the light was installed in the mirror base housing. Not only was the connection broken, a mounting tab on the light itself was broken off so the light could possibly fall out over time. So after soldering a new terminal on the wire and a bit of adhesive to hold the light in the housing, I then discovered the wires for the retractor motor had been installed in the plug backwards(see pics). It came in when it was supposed to go out, and vice versa. So I had to cut and splice the 2 incorrectly installed wires after troubleshooting the problem. The mirror now works as it should....not as smoothly or as quietly as the original, but it works. This WILL be the last Kool Vue product I will purchase.
