Best Atomic clock ever--buy it while you can!
This is one of the best "Atomic Digital" GPS clocks that La Crosse ever built. Unfortunately, La Crosse has discontinued the sale of this nicely made product, and the it's available only as a "refurbished" unit from third parties. It's revealing of the company's myopic thinking that they no longer sell this great clock, yet they continue to offer much higher priced, less reliable clocks. I've bought many of their 24 hour, GMT compatible clocks, and every one has failed in three years or less. Great little atomic clock
Hard to find travel atomic clock. They were popular in the past and I still have a use for them. Would have been 5 stars but this model does not any backlight whatsoever. I have a model that you press a button on top for a 5 second backlight which is Handy. Excellent Small Clock
I have used this model of clock in various colors for many years. Its small size requiring only 1 AA battery as well as being "Atomic" calibrated is what I like about it. Potential negative points: The momentary night light is dim but functional. Setting/operating clock requires pushing/holding one of three places on the clock. Nothing is difficult but may take several tries to get the feel of changing settings. Over a long period of time, the "buttons" may require a little more pressure to push due to wear? These are suppose to be refurbished clocks. All have worked for me and have looked new when I have received them. I think I may get one year of use out of a regular alkaline battery before the number become dim. I have used rechargeable batteries in these clocks too. I do not recall how long rechargeable battery may last but less time than the regular alkaline battery.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Great clock, poor instructions. ++
This is a fine alarm clock, with poor instructions. Hitting snooze a second time or silencing the alarm resets it for the next day. The alarm wakes you up with some urgency - great in an alarm clock. I like it. I also have a La Crosse atomic wall clock, and a sharp atomic desk clock. The two La Crosse clocks agree; the Sharp is 3 seconds different. How can this be?
