So this went on a 1998 dodge 2500 5.9 Cummins, under the left battery all was well until I went to install the servo does this part work yes is it timed/clocked correctly for the application no. Very nice servo assembly.
Ordered this speed control servo to replace a unit in my truck that quit working. Unit was in very nice condition and arrived quickly via USPS. Only wrinkle was it had a different electrical connector than my original, but the new one came with the appropriate connector. The correct way to replace your part.
Servo fits perfectly, since it is OEM. Works awesome on my 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4. The only difference was the plug in was about 10 degrees lower than OEM. Was able to plug it in with no trouble at all. Had a fault code for cruise servo vent control malfunction, and replacing it with this servo fixed the issue. Cruise works perfectly. This is the second Ram truck I fixed with this servo number. A 2000 Ram 2500 V-10 4x4 and 1997 Ram 1500 5.2L 4x4. Both work as they did when new. Great part. Obvious since it is factory OEM.
