This X3480 CPU arrived fast and included heat sink compound. This CPU was used to upgrade a Dell T110 server from Xeon X3440. Installation was very easy: Unscrew CPU heatsink, release socket clip and place old CPU aside, apply compound to new CPU, and then reassemble. The whole process takes about ten minutes. After CPU upgrade, some tasks execute twice as fast as before.

Really good, good working performance. Is from the 1st geneation, but it's a very good processor. I think Is one of the fastest processors of the Xeon 1st generation. I'm still using it in an HP server with the LGA1156 processor socket, and I'm really glad with it.
