Easy to replace and you'll probably break some of the locking tabs on the door panel
Door panel pops off with effort and usually a few broken locking tabs. Buy those on eBay too. Easy to replace but requires some dexterity to remove plastic and at this point brittle weather barrier and the locking clips for the lock and handle rods. Couple of bolts in the door get removed. Out pops the lock, in goes the new one. Put back the barrier, re attach the rod keepers and replace the broken tabs on the door panel. Pop that in place and hopefully you tested the door electronics before buttoning it up... Then test again and rejoice in your achievement.
Jeep does things a little differently, and the lock actuator is actually part of the door latch mechanism. This makes the part more expensive and the installation a little more involved. Still, it is not too tough of an install -- be aware that you will break probably about a half dozen door panel fasteners, so get some of those ahead of time and you'll be set to make this swap. YouTube videos help a lot.
