I will be taking these tail lights off my 85 Chevy K10. I like the look but the fit was terrible. Very hard to get my sockets in far enough to twist lock. The top light section is pointed the right direction to clear the box steel. The bottom ( reverse ) light section is pointed slightly in just enough to hit the box steel. I had to do a lot of bending to make these work. I refuse to cut the box steel to make these lights fit right. I had to bend them quite a bit to make them fit to the point I thought these lights would break. They did not but they stuck out on the bottom by a quarter inch at least. Live and learn.
My 1990 Suburban had this style of tail lights on it when I bought it in 2006. I got brushed while in a Walmart parking lot in Franklin, IN, this summer, & just got these to swap out for the L one that got broken. They match what was in it just fine & look good.
