A must have for an e-brake job
be smart and get yourself one of these kits prior to starting an e-brake job. Older springs tend to stretch out over time and will get damaged when trying to unhook them. The "J" Hook spring will break when trying to remove it if you have never done this before, you will regret not having this kit on hand when that happens. This kit also comes with the adjustable type spacer, my 05 Volvo had the non adjustable spacer, just that addition alone is worth the price of this kit.
