this is not made of stainless steel.
The seller misread the manufacturers description of the product. After several phone calls with different people in the company I finally got to a person who listened to me. She checked the manufacturers website and realized they had mislabeled the product. They gave me a small rebate and promised to revise their description. I kept the product because it is as good as any powder coated step bars available. I was asked if I would change my rating of the seller.
