This is a new old stock tailgate cap made for a Dodge ram 94 to 2002 black in color. This is New Old stock. It's never been opened. The original factory packaging and shipping is still on this box. I am not taking it out to take pictures. This came to me as part of The liquidation of a truck accessory + and this just didn't sell. New Old stock. Great to restore that second gen. Excellent box-- packed very well
pros: none cons: cheap plastic that doesn't lay on the top of the tailgate without being forced down, double sided tape is inadequate and even with additional tape it doesn't fit tightly. In my installation; the cap has to line up with a bed protector that fits on the inside of the tailgate, the bed protector is adjustable but the cap is so poorly made that I had to use a laminate trimmer and straight edge to trim off about a 1/2 " variation along the inside length of the cap in order to get the two edges to match up. If you don't care how it looks or your installation isn't this involved ...go for it.

I bought this cap for my 2000 dodge ram 1500 4x4. the top of the tailgate was a little damaged and so this really made the tailgate look much nicer. The adhesive which is supposed to hold it in place, well, it didn't work, so I used self taping screws, but overall, I'm very pleased!!

Applied to clean smooth surface. Used alcohol cleaner prior to opening adhesive strips. Applied pressure after applying and just didn’t stick to tailgate.
