A set of directions would have helped a bit, particularly in regards to the removing of the rubberized material on the stock headlight assembly which holds an embedded fastener between the headlight itself and the turn signal. One can get the incorrect idea that there is a nut in there on the embedded fastener when in fact there isn't. Simply pry the headlight off it.
1. Pull bumper off vehicle. (Mine is 300 pounds and is Elk-Moose-proof)
2. Remove screws holding headlamp in place.
3. Using a mid-size screwdriver, force factory headlight assembly off rubberized material (only visible w/flashlight in hidey-hole on fender) from the front-outside of the stock light fixture.
4. Install new headlamp by reversing above procedure.
5. Repeat procedure on opposite side of truck.
6. Aim headlights now. (Bumper must be off the make adjustments)
7.Reinstall bumper.
8. Rejoice. You can actually see in the dark.
Note: Assume 1-1/2 to 2 hours for replacement project. (See bumper above)
The lights do a very good job and from an appearance standpoint. look pretty good as well.
