Cheap for a reason.
Smallest and most inexpensive of all the portacool models you will definitely get what you pay for. At around $300 it is a bargain compared to the larger models but the plastic is much thinner and you can definitely tell the build quality is lacking. Mine arrived with all the louvers hanging out in the bottom of the box with the smaller pieces lodged in the blower. The water reservoir fill door was also broken. After a few minutes and some screws everything was back together. The fan seems louder than the larger models but not enough that you have to shout over. It does put out some cool air but definitely not cold. I would definitely say this would be for outdoor of patio use only. Stick with an actual portable air conditioner if it's primary use is to cool off indoor areas. It does what it claims to do, it just doesn't do it as well as you hope it would.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
