These little routers are great for applications needing moderate speed at 2.4 Ghz. We use these to give SONOS connectivity in buildings that have large commercial wi-fi systems that don't support SONOS device interconnection since the controlling device must be in the same sub-net as the SONOS and that is not always true on large systems with multiple access points using DHCP. Otherwise there are newer and faster dual band routers to fulfill more advanced needs.

I've used one of these for several years and it's online 24/7 (WiFi for Cell). It is excellent with good area coverage and my WiFi Cell speed is equal to my Modem tied directly to my PC. Zero loss in speed. I bought it as a direct replacement so no installation setup was required. I only had to change the Factory default Network name and password.

I was trying to create a network around my digital mixing console and just couldn't quite get it. Looked on Utube and found very descriptive instructions and they were using this router so I got one. Everything went together quickly after that so I'm very pleased with this item!

I have 2 other routers in the house in order to extend my wifi coverage throughout each room in the house. I run hardwire ethernet to each router and make each router as another wifi or ethernet ports. I have 3 extra ethernet ports after the hardwire upstream is used.
