Great for organizing your wiring.
I had a mess of wiring at the existing telephone wire terminal that I have always wanted to clean up. I was initially going to buy the Leviton 47689-B 1x9 Bridged Telephone Module, which would have done the job, but then I discovered this unit and I liked the way it looks better. It's supposed to go into one of their proprietary consoles, but I took out the plastic clips and mounted it inside one of my joists in the basement. Works great. You'll need a punchtool, a cheap plastic one will work just fine. Mine came with some Leviton RJ-45 jacks I previously bought. Don't use anything other than a punchtool or you'll ruin the block BTW, there's nothing really special about this unit. It is low tech. It just offers a way to organize and make sense of your wiring.

FOR $ 15.00 A STACK-ABLE MODULAR CAT 5 INTERFACE IT SEEMS FAIR.
SUPPOSED TO BE NEW OR SO I THOUGHT.IT WAS OPENED AND ONE OF THE MOUNTING PEGS WAS BROKEN. NOT A BIG DEAL IT APPEARS TO NOT HAVE BEEN USED BUT I STILL HAVE NOT INSTALLED IT SO I AM JUST GOING TO ASSUME IT WORKS I JUST 3 STARS B/C IT WAS NOT BETTER THAN EXPECTED BUT MAY VERY WELL BE JUST FINE.
