This projector is replacing a Epson PowerLite Pro Cinema that was lost in a lightning strike. I wanted on of these projectors when they came out but it was to pricy at the time. Now I will be able to see if I should have went with the higher priced Sony in the first place. I have four Sony Brava TV's and I am a true believer in the brand. I am looking forward to seeing what this projector has. If the projector has a picture that is even close to what the TV's have I will be happy as a pig in slop. I have seen this projector in action years ago at the theater store and it looked amazing. If you have a chance to pick one of these projectors up at or below $750.00 buy it and fast. This is a very good 1080p projector that will last for years to come.

This projector is over hyped. Yes it gives crisp , clean, and beautful display but if you are running like for say a Wii U through HDMI....For get having sound at all. This projector is not user friendly, bleeds out in the slight hint of light. It blacks are great becuase of the weak lamp in this Sony first class projector that is beat by a Mitsubishi EW270U on everything but clarity and contract but only by a little bit. I wish to go on saying that I took two hours trying to focus this unit and it all becuase of the lumens on this lamp. The brightness is dreadful.
