A bit of a disappointment
The can itself is fine. The picture would lead one to believe that the whole can assembly is steel. It is not. The handle to open the spout is plastic. I believe the competitor's can (also USA made, and about the same price) has a steel hande. I bought these to get away from plastic. I was expecting this to be all steel. Steel gas can, the only way to go.
Well constructed, spout seals perfectly and securely. Funnel direct fuel exactly where you want it to go. The steel construction is very important to me safety wise. I don't like plastic cans. They are not durable enough and don't seal well when being stored. I consider the price of a steel can, usually 3 times that of plastic well worth the extra expense.
