Monitor Audio Bronze 2 is pure excellence
As soon as I hooked these up I knew they were keepers. It was the sound I was looking for. WhatHifi's review is well deserved. I'm really loving the C-Cam tweeter in this speaker. It's nice and airy if not slightly forward. It's not harsh though (lends a touch of smoothness). The mid-range is spot on, leaning towards a slightly darker but great sound. Bass is tight and not overwhelming. Imaging and soundstage are also quite good. I'm sure these will stay in my collection for quite some time. I'm not disappointed at all. I would definitely recommend these speakers without hesitation. Comparison wise they sound like my Definitive Technology sm55's but more tonally balanced and smoother...less boxy, easier on the treble if you will...with better imaging. I still can't give up my 55's but these have slid into 1st place for my music listening.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice sound, good value!
Although these were not the latest iteration of the Bronze 2; they were still in like new condition (included the foam plugs and the original jumpers). I compared them with the Elac Debut 6.2 that I had already and they seem to have a better high end response.
