I purchased this card because I couldn't afford a higher end card and I heard the 9800 was good grapihcs for my price range. I have to admit that going from my old 7100 series card to the 9800 was a MAJOR improvement. Of corse going to any card over a 7100 series is a improvement. I enjoy this graphic card because it supports most of the games that are out there today. Also the graphics are smooth durging game play with whatever resolution I desire. I enjoy the fact that my system has not been over heating nor have I noticed any increase in sounds emiting from my computer since installing it. (fan noise). If your a gamer like myself which would like to increase your gaming experence with better graphics and also have a buget to work with, then I would reccomend getting no lower then a 9800 Nvidia geforce card. That is if your system can handle it. PCIEx16.Read full review
This card is a spectacular value right now. If you enjoy gaming, but are not a die-hard FPS fanatic, then this card will suit you very well. The only real downside I can come up with is the form factor. It takes up two slots on my motherboard (PCI Express x16 and standard PCI). This is not a huge deal, and this disadvantage is certainly not limited to this particular card, but it could be problematic if you need the slot for another card.
card looked like bran new. Replaced dead g9800, plugged it in didn't have to do anything. Computer booted up like the card had been in there from when I first turned on the machine.
