Worth Getting
I am glad I purchased this CD even though I have some mixed feelings about it. It has two, overriding strengths: 1) The emotional power of knowing that Ray was dying as he made this recording, yet he never complained while doing so. 2) The duets are with appropriate, musical legends. It doesn't get much better than hearing Ray sing with the likes of Diana Krall, James Taylor, and B. B. King. The only weakness of the recording is that Ray's vocal skills are audibly diminished by his age and failing health. Still, this vocal quality fits well with some of the tracks, especially "Sinner's Prayer" with B. B. King. I'm glad I bought the CD but it is not one I play very often.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
